Our Adventure

Our motto for travelling and living aboard is "Go to new places, meet new people, and try new things." We love going to a new place, dropping anchor, exploring the area for good kayaking and fishing spots, and going to shore to find some live music. Along the way we have been to some really cool places, met some really nice people, and taken lots of pictures along the way. We would love to bring you along for the journey, wherever it may take us. Check out the map and click around to explore the timeline of our adventure.

Places We've Been

Check out below to see some of the places that we've been and some of the things that we've done. Feel free to check out the map, (above), as well to see our adventure visualized.

Bay City, Michigan, USA

When we first went to look at our MainShip 400 it was down in Bay City, Michigan. After researching many different boats we decided to purchase the one in Bay City. We recorded our adventures bringing her home to Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. Check out the video on YouTube, using the links below.

Port Austin, Michigan, USA

This was our very first port that we came into on our way home from picking up the boat. The fun thing about this town was that they were having a music-porch festival; there was music everywhere. We love music. We even found Elvis!

Lexington State Harbour, Michigan, USA

Lexington is a great location! We recommend stopping here for supplies; you can find inexpensive fuel, the people in the town are very friendly, and there are great outdoor locations for walks and other activites.

Sarnia, Ontario, Canada

Sarnia was the port in which we were to check into customs. It went very well thou we were a little bit nervous. Picked up groceries and enjoyed a nice night on their dock.

Detroit River

After leaving Sarnia we travelled down the Detroit River. It was a fun filled day, full of different views from both the Canadian side and the US side. We saw many different boats.
